'No Time to Vacation': Ablow, Guilfoyle Criticize Obama for Golfing After ISIS Beheading
President Obama is facing criticism for playing golf after delivering remarks on American journalist James Foley, who was beheaded by ISIS. Meanwhile, Prime Minister David Cameron cut his vacation short after learning that the executioner in the video has a British accent.
The White House claims that President Obama can do his job from anywhere. On Outnumbered, Dr. Keith Ablow took issue with the optics of the president remaining at Martha’s Vineyard.
“Appearance is important. And so whether he can take the White House with him or not, Americans would like to know the president’s at the helm, that he takes this very seriously, that it’s no time to vacation.” Dr. Ablow said. “We just had a journalist beheaded […] it’s no time for golf.”
Kimberly Guilfoyle said President Obama needs to “act presidential” from wherever he is by giving Americans confidence that he has a plan of action.
“What an appalling, pitiful response,” she said of the president’s remarks.
