Charles Krauthammer was on “The O’Reilly Factor” tonight to discuss the shooting death of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Mo.

“Here’s the central fact of this event: we do not know what happened on that day […] everybody is jumping to conclusions, and I would include in that the governor of the state of Missouri,” he said, pointing to Gov. Jay Nixon’s message that “a vigorous prosecution must now be pursued.”

Instead, Krauthammer said Nixon should have called for a vigorous investigation because the word “prosecution” implies that a crime has been committed.

Krauthammer and O’Reilly also discussed Al Sharpton’s involvement in the event.

“Here is a man who participated in a blatant hoax, framed a white man for the alleged rape of a young girl. Everybody knew - as truly Sharpton knew - this was a hoax from the very beginning," Krauthammer said.
