Wynonna Judd spoke to Greta Van Susteren this evening about the passing of Robin Williams.

Judd said she is very emotional about his tragic death and that it hits close to home.

“I have such a tenderness for him and people like Robin because, as we know, behind humor is often sadness and growing up in my family I used humor – it saved my life.”

Judd said she will remember most “his sweet and tender heart.”

“Life is more important than show business. I saw who he is, not just what he does,” she said.

“Depression is so misunderstood, and it’s not a character flaw. It’s just a really hopeless place that I’ve been to.”
