Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) went “On The Record” tonight, where he responded to accusations that he voted to cut aid to Israel.

“I’ve never targeted Israel for any aid cuts, never voted to cut any aid to Israel, and the interesting thing is I spent the last two months trying to cut aid to Hamas and the Palestinian Authority and people seem to be trying to create their own story,” he said.

Paul also blasted Democrats and Sen. Harry Reid for giving up on voting in the Senate. He said it seems they are “embarrassed of their philosophy” and worried that people won’t like the way they’re voting.

The Kentucky senator also responded to a video that showed him walking away from immigration activists, explaining that he was doing an interview 10 feet away from them.
