The IRS could be coming to a church near you.

The Freedom From Religion Foundation has struck a deal with the IRS. The agency has decided to keep an eye on nonprofit religious groups that are accused of preaching politics.

“They wanna use the IRS as a weapon against Christianity, against faith,” PJ Media legal editor J Christian Adams said today on “Fox and Friends.”

Adams said the Freedom From Religion Foundation wants to use the IRS to go after people who express their faith from the pulpit.

“They want people who believe to shut up,” he said, calling it a dangerous development.
