‘Could Have Been Written By Hamas’: Brent Bozell Takes on Media Bias in Israel/Gaza Conflict
Megyn Kelly and Media Research Center President Brent Bozell tonight discussed perceived media bias in the Israel/Gaza conflict.
In a tweet, the Associated Press criticized Congress for apparent support of Israel, writing, “As much of world watches Gaza war in horror, members of Congress fall over each other to support Israel.” The tweet referred to and linked to an Associated Press article. Four hours later, the AP posted a revised tweet: Many U.S. lawmakers strongly back Israel in Gaza war.
“That news article could have been written by Hamas working for the AP, or the AP is [doing] press releases for Hamas. It’s indistinguishable. This makes a mockery of journalism, it makes a mockery of objectivity,” Bozell said.
Kelly also brought up Nancy Pelosi’s recent interview with CNN’s Candy Crowley.
"And we have to confer with the Qataris, who have told me over and over again that Hamas is a humanitarian organization," Pelosi said.
“The U.S. thinks they’re a terrorist organization, though, correct? Do you?” Crowley said.
“Mhm, and we’ve had that discussion,” Pelosi responded.
“I have to leave it there,” Crowley said before cutting to break.
“It’s outrageous,” Bozell said. “We have to confer with the Qataris for our foreign policy because they say that Hamas is a humanitarian organization? And she didn’t touch it.”
“The problem is when somebody says something that crazy and you’re up against a break, it’s very hard,” Kelly noted.
