Would a three-day work week improve your quality of life? Carlos Slim, the second richest man in the world, says it would.

During a press conference, Slim called for a “radical overhaul” in workers’ lives. He said people should work three days a week, but longer hours. He also said people should work more years, until they’re 70 or 75.

“With three work days a week, we would have more time to relax, for quality of life,” he said. "Having four days [off] would be very important to generate new entertainment activities and other ways of being occupied.”

This evening on “The Five,” Jesse Watters said Slim was likely “trying to throw a little sugar to the peasants, make them feel like he’s on their side.”

“This argument is made by someone who’s unencumbered by the consequences of not working,” Greg Gutfeld said, adding that the most important step out of poverty is work.
