Intel Sources: Missile Launcher That Shot Down Flight MH17 Likely Back in Russia
Ukraine is calling on Moscow to insist that pro-Russian rebels give international experts access to the crash site of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17. Ukrainians fear that vital information is being taken from the scene.
Jennifer Griffin reported on the latest today. She said that senior U.S. intelligence officials believe that video shows the missile launcher used to bring down the plane. In the video, two of its four missiles are missing, and it was shown heading toward the Russian border.
Intelligence officials believe the missile was launched from Schnidze, a town in eastern Ukraine. They believe the launcher was brought across the border from Russia in recent weeks and since the plane went down, separatists have been frantically trying to hide it. Intelligence official sources say it’s likely back in Russia.
