Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) was on “The O’Reilly Factor” tonight to weigh in on the immigration crisis.

“The first step in this process needs to be an all-out effort to finally put to rest the illegal immigration problem in America,” he said.

The Florida senator said the U.S. must construct fencing, deploy specific technologies – like ground sensors and drones—to secure the border, and implement an e-verify system that requires employers to confirm that their employees are legal residents. He also called for an entry and exit tracking system, particularly at our airports, and said we must also reform the legal immigration system.

When asked what he thinks of Obama placing the blame on the GOP, Rubio told Bill O’Reilly, “I think it’s an indictment of all of Washington, of the failure for more than a decade to deal with a problem that we know exists.”
