Why Doesn’t Krauthammer Trust the National Media?
Does Charles Krauthammer trust the national media?
“Apart from Fox, no, of course not,” he told Bill O’Reilly tonight on “The Factor.”
Krauthammer said that all the mainstream media is through a liberal tint, but he applies a reverse tint when consuming the news.
“I know when I’m reading the New York Times, I’m reading the liberal flagship of America,” he said.
O’Reilly asked Krauthammer if you can believe what you hear on CNN.
“Well, look, CNN, they’re still looking for the Malaysian plane," he said. "I think they’ve actually located Amelia Earhart, who’s gonna be a new anchor for them, but who watches CNN?”
O’Reilly asked: how about the network newscasts?
“I have not watched a network newscast on any of the three networks in 20 years […] I gain nothing from it. There’s nothing that they would tell me that I don’t know,” Krauthammer said.
Krauthammer said there has always been a liberal bias in the media, but that the media today are in better shape because there are so many more outlets, which means the liberals no longer have the monopoly.
