ABC News reports that al Qaeda-linked terrorists are working on new bombs to bring on planes.

According to the report, terrorists in Yemen and Syria are teaming up to come up with creative, non-metallic explosives.

ABC reports that this helps explain why U.S. officials earlier this year warned of explosives in shoes, toothpaste tubes and cosmetics.
