From Class to Court: Family Sues Son's Alleged 3rd Grade Bully
A fourth grade student and his family are suing a fellow classmate for alleged bullying last year.
Deveri and Matthew Del Core say a bully spit, hit, kicked and threatened their son, Joaquin, when he was in the third grade at Robert Frost Elementary in Mount Prospect, Ill. They are seeking $50,000 in damages.
“He would wake up at night screaming and crying," Deveri said.
Right after Deveri filed the complaint against the school, she was fired from her job in the school's cafeteria.
