‘A High Crime, Not a Triviality’: Krauthammer Slams Admin for Lost Lerner Emails
Charles Krauthammer tonight slammed the administration after the IRS said it lost two years’ worth of Lois Lerner’s emails.
“You have to think that Congress and the rest of us are stupid if you believe what they are telling us,” he said.
Krauthammer said that the IRS was asked for these emails a year ago, and just now, we are hearing that the emails are lost.
Computer experts have told Krauthammer that these files can be found, and he said we must bring in nonpartisan, outside experts and “turn them loose.”
“Nixon lost 18 minutes. Obama’s now lost two years of email,” he said, noting that the second article of impeachment for Nixon was the abuse of the IRS to pursue political enemies.
“This is a high crime, this is not a triviality,” he said.
