Miss Nevada took the crown at the Miss USA pageant this weekend, but it’s another contestant who is making headlines for a different reason. On Sunday night, Miss Indiana Mekayla Diehl, 25, sparked praise online for her “normal” bikini body.

Today on Fox and Friends, Diehl called the attention to her figure “overwhelming in a positive way.” Diehl said it’s wonderful being able to inspire young girls. 

"I don’t know if it was necessarily a decision I made. It’s just I continued the lifestyle I wanted to live. […] I trained very hard for the body I have, but I didn’t go to any extremes, and I’m proud of that,” she said.
