They say a bride should wear “something new,” but is accessorizing with your newborn taking it too far? Shona Carter-Brooks, of Jackson, Tenn., secured her 1-month-old daughter to her wedding dress train, then made her way down the aisle.

Carter-Brooks defended the decision, saying her daughter was awake, well-secured and covered by Christ.

The Red Eye panel - Greg Gutfeld, Andy Levy, Joanne Nosuchinsky, Gavin McInnes and John Bolton - discussed whether the criticism is warranted.

“It could be a cultural norm in Tennessee to have a child a month before the wedding and then place it on the dress train of the bride. I think it’s sad people are baby-on-wedding-dress-shaming this bride, and I think they need to check their privilege and shut up,” Andy Levy joked.
