O’Neill said there’s no indication of a timeline as to when Bowe Bergdahl’s family will be able to see him. She said that the most important thing is that he is alive and safe.

Of the questions raised about Bergdahl’s disappearance, O’Neill said, “Certainly here in Hailey [in Idaho], we are leaving the politics to the rest of the country and the world and we’re just gonna welcome him back with open arms.”

The community of Hailey will hold a “Bo is Back” event, where Carole King will perform.
