Six people were arrested in Iran over a video in which they danced to the Pharrell song "Happy." The six dancers, who appear to be in their 20s, have since been released but the video's director was still being held.

Pharrell lamented the situation on Facebook, writing that "it is beyond sad that these kids were arrested for trying to spread happiness." Women in Iran are prohibited from dancing in public or appearing without a hijab.

Police said the "vulgar" video hurt public chastity.
