Rep. Miller: Obama Remarks on VA Problems 'Too Little, Too Late'
Rep. Jeff Miller (R-FL) reacted on The Real Story to President Obama's remarks on the problems within the VA health care system. Miller, who chairs the House Veterans Affairs Committee, said the remarks were "too little, too late."
He said he would have liked to see the president issue an executive order allowing backlogged veterans to immediately see doctors outside the VA system.
Gretchen Carlson asked about a letter Miller sent to VA Secretary Shinseki that questions whether the department will comply with a subpoena for documents.
Miller said he does not believe the VA wants to cooperate, based on what his committee has been given so far. Carlson then asked whether veterans have time to wait for the White House's review to be completed.
