Charles Krauthammer tonight weighed in on the president’s response to the VA scandal.

"If these allegations prove to be true, it is dishonorable, it is disgraceful and I will not tolerate it, period," President Barack Obama said today after meeting with VA Secretary Eric Shinseki and top aide Rob Nabors.

Krauthammer said that Obama can’t run away from this scandal. He said that with other scandals, Democrats have sat them out or pretended they weren’t scandals, and the media has followed suit.

“Here, the Democats have been screaming very loudly,” Krauthammer said.

“‘Yes we can,’ apart from the narcissism of it, was ‘Yes the government can do great things,'" Krauthammer said, referencing Obama's campaign. "It can’t even run a decades-old, normal, absolutely mundane health care system that’ll run everywhere in the world between here and Togo,” Krauthammer said.
