A dramatic scene was caught on tape by a news helicopter Monday in Brentwood, New Hampshire. A police officer was shot and killed after he responded to a domestic disturbance at a home that exploded and burned.

Jonathan Hunt reported the latest on America's Newsroom this morning. The suspected gunman, 47-year-old Michael Nolan, died inside the home, police said. Nolan reportedly lived at the residence with his 86-year-old father, who was taken from the home in an ambulance.

His injuries, according to Hunt, did not appear serious.

Officer Steve Arkell responded to the house after neighbors called 911 to report an argument. A neighbor said "rapid gun fire" rang out after Arkell arrived at the property.
