A “Special Report” panel tonight discussed violence in Ukraine.

Ukraine forces are trying to regain control of a small airport that was taken over by Russian separatists. There are reports of similar situations in Moldova and Estonia.

Charles Krauthammer called the reports alarming. He said that Estonia is a member of NATO, and an attack on one member is an attack on all of them.

Krauthammer said the situation is a Nazi and Communist tactic of stirring up unrest, then asking for armed intervention.

“What [Putin] understands is he has nothing to fear from the United States […] what we are doing is holding the coat of the little guy in the fight who is essentially unarmed.”
