Why are many pop stars liberal, while country stars are conservative?

“The O’Reilly Factor” sent Jesse Watters to last week’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony in Brooklyn to find out.

“There are certainly some liberal country groups, and there are also some conservative rock groups as well,” Rage Against the Machine’s Tom Morello said.

“I have no idea what you’re talking about,” Emmylou Harris told Watters.

“I never believed that musicians should get involved with politics,” Ace Frehley, of Kiss, said.

Watters asked some of the celebrities in attendance what issues in the nation are bothering them.

Peter Gabriel said the media is very divided, and Sheryl Crow said “the system now is heavily broken.”
