Finders Keepers: Oklahoma Teen Sells 3.85-Carat Diamond for $20K
An Oklahoma teen is $20,000 richer after selling a diamond she found at an Arkansas park.
Tana Clymer found a 3.85-carat diamond last October at Crater of Diamonds State Park in Murfreesboro, Ark. She said she noticed it after sifting through a search field for two hours.
“I feel like God told me to slow down and look at the ground,” Clymer said.
Clymer plans to put the money toward college.
The Arkansas park is the only diamond-producing site in the United States that’s open to the public.
