James Hellwig, known to WWE fans as The Ultimate Warrior, has died at the age of 54, just days after being inducted into the World Wrestling Entertainment Hall of Fame.

Hellwig collapsed outside his hotel in Arizona, TMZ reported. There is no word on the cause of death.

One day earlier he appeared on “Monday Night Raw” and on Sunday he was at the Mercedez-Benz Superdome in New Orleans for WrestleMania 30.

In the early 1990's Hellwig had a falling out with the WWE over a trademark dispute.

Just last week Hellwig mended fences with WWE in his Hall of Fame induction speech. He also paid tribute to his daughters, "My two warrior girls, although I've done some pretty incredible things in wrestling and my wrestling career when you weren't around, the most awesome thing I will ever do is be your father."
