Sen. John McCain says he wants a select committee to probe the Benghazi investigation.

“Too late,” Charles Krauthammer said of the select committee during a “Special Report” panel. “This should have happened a year ago […] politically speaking, the administration has won. They ran out the clock.”

Krauthammer said the best thing that the Republican Party can do now is look at the broader foreign policy of the administration, which he called “a disaster from one part of the globe to another.”

Krauthammer said that the administration’s foreign policy is really hurting the country.

“I mean, this really is a collapse of America’s stature in the world,” he said.
