A man who lost both of his legs in the Boston Marathon bombing was on The O’Reilly Factor tonight.

It has been almost a year since the fatal bombing that changed Jeff Bauman’s life. While hospitalized, he gave authorities a description of Tamerlan Tsarnaev, one of the suspected bombers, who has since been killed.

Bill O’Reilly asked Bauman how long it took for him to accept that he was grievously injured.

“Sometimes, I don’t fully accept it still,” Bauman said. “I miss shooting hoops with my friends, I miss being able to jump out of my house and jump in a car and drive, I miss that stuff every day.”

Bauman said he will go to the trial of the second suspected bomber, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.

Bauman’s memoir, “Stronger,” was released today. Learn more about the book here. Watch his interview with O’Reilly in the video above.

On Wednesday morning, Bauman sat down with Brian, Elisabeth and Steve on Fox and Friends, along with his fiance, Erin Hurley. The couple is engaged and expecting their first child.
