Tornadoes, Baseball-Sized Hail Pummel Parts of Midwest, Texas
Video above shows the devastation in Hopkins County, Texas after storms, including twisters and hail, pummeled millions. As many as eight tornadoes touched down on Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.
Some residents in Texas say the hail stones were baseball-sized.
“Hail was coming into the building and it was circling in the building. I’ve never seen anything like that before,” one man said.
Garrett Tenney reported that an EF-1 tornado in University City, Missouri spanned as wide as a football field. That morning, a twister left behind a half-mile long path of damage.
In the afternoon, another storm brought heavy wind and hail. In all, about 100 homes were damaged. Thankfully, no injuries were reported.
