Tigers' Famous 'Singing Hot Dog Man' Benched for Opening Day
An opera singing hot dog vendor that worked at the Detroit Tigers' Comerica Park missed his first opening day since 1999 after being fired by the vendor company.
Charley Marcuse was shown the door last September because he didn't follow the rules and standards.
“I only sing between innings. I’m only allowed to sing four times in my general section,” he told Gretchen Carlson.
Marcuse also was vocal to customers about his dislike of putting ketchup on franks, citing the tradition of the game.
