An off-duty deputy jumped into action to save two people from a burning vehicle.
Cheryl Crecelius, of the Washington County Sheriff's Department, witnessed the Jeep catch fire and sprung into action. Crecelius saved one passenger, a Good Samaritan assisted with another, while the third person was able to escape the vehicle on their own.
All three people involved in that crash were treated at a local hospital.
Deputies say that the driver had been drinking when he lost control and crashed into two trees.
