3 Secret Service Agents Sent Home After Night of Drinking in Amsterdam
Three Secret Service agents were recalled from The Netherlands, where President Obama held a news conference Tuesday, after one drunken agent was found passed out outside his hotel room.
Peter Doocy reported this morning that the two other agents, including a team leader, were also disciplined for failing to stop their colleague's drinking. All three have been placed on administrative leave pending an investigation, officials told Fox News.
Hotel workers notified the U.S. Embassy after staff found the passed-out agent. The night of drinking in Amsterdam occurred Sunday, the day before President Obama was set to arrive.
The Secret Service implemented a rule two years ago - after the Colombia prostitute scandal - that states agents cannot have any alcohol within 10 hours of the start of a shift.
