One family in California is taking matters into their own hands by fighting against a grade school bully with a restraining order.

The Feudner family claims their nine-year-old son has been terrorized by a fourth grader at Rolling Hill Elementary School for the past five months. They allege that the school has refused to act after their son was physically and verbally attacked.

The boy’s dad, Stephen Feudner said, “I’m trying to protect the children from future attacks by this young man.”

CBS 13 in Sacramento reports that the Solano County Sheriff’s office has never heard of a restraining order against a grade school student, but there is no rule against it.  

The family says the school refuses to give them the bully’s full name and address, so a restraining order may not be valid. They’re hoping a judge will force the school to release that information.
