Fiery 'You're Out of Your Mind': Beckel Takes on Greenpeace Co-Founder Over Climate Change
Monday night, Senate Democrats held an all-night talk-a-thon to call out those who doubt climate change. On his show Tuesday night, Sean Hannity blasted the all-nighter as a “waste of time” and slammed climate change as “propaganda” and a “hoax.”
‘The Five’ host Bob Beckel and Greenpeace co-founder Patrick Moore battled each other over the issue on Hannity.
“There is no scientific proof that we are causing climate change,” Moore stated, calling it a “purely political witch hunt.”
Moore said the International Panel on Climate Change says it’s likely that humans are responsible for at least a quarter of it over the last 150 years.
Beckel accused Moore of cashing out and making millions of dollars by teaming up with companies that pollute.
“If companies equals polluters, I guess that’s true,” Moore responded. He said he left Greenpeace because they went in a direction that he couldn’t justify with science.
Hannity interjected, asking Beckel why he was personally attacking Moore.
“Because he’s got no better argument,” Moore answered.
