Suspicious Package Found at Sen. Jeff Flake's Office
Fox News has confirmed that a suspicious package has been recovered at office of Sen. Jeff Flake (R - Ariz.). The discovery is the latest in what is now a series of incidents, happening across party lines, involving politicians receiving poisoned letters or packages ... including the President of the United States, Barack Obama.
According to local affiliate KSAZ, in a phone interview, Phoenix Fire Captain Jonathan Jacobs said two suspicious packages were found at Sen. Jeff Flake's office in Phoenix. The item was isolated, and only the area where package was found was evacuated.
The Phoenix Fire Department has HAZMAT teams handling the situation and is working with ATF and other federal agencies.
President Obama and Sen. Roger Wicker (R, Miss.) both received packages containing the poisonous substance ricin, authorities confirmed.
