READ: AG Holder Defends Himself in Response to Rosen Questions
New details are coming out on the issue of whether or not the head of the Justice Department lied to Congress. Attorney General Eric Holder is defending himself and his department in writing, issuing a letter late Wednesday responding to a series of questions asked by House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-VA) in regards to a warrant issued for the records of Fox News Correspondent James Rosen
In the letter, Holder states that approval for the Rosen warrant came on May 28, 2010, and he was the one who gave approval.
