Pilot, Co-Pilot Killed in UPS Plane Crash in Alabama
The pilot and co-pilot of a UPS cargo plane were killed in a crash that occurred Wednesday morning in Birmingham, Alabama, not far from the city's airport, a city official said.
The pilot and co-pilot were the only occupants of United Parcel Service Inc flight 1354, and they have not yet been identified. The flight was en route from Louisville, Kentucky, to Birmingham when it crashed on approach. Authorities say no bystanders were hurt in the incident.
