INTEL: Suspect Became U.S. Citizen on September 11, 2012
Catherine Herridge just reported on a recent development in the investigation into Boston bombing suspects Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. A manhunt is currently underway in the Boston area and beyond for the latter brother, a 19-year-old reported med student. Herridge says that information recovered indicates that Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was granted asylum on September 27, 2002, receiving his green card on June 10, 2004. He was granted citizenship September 11, 2012.
The parents of the two males came to the U.S. first, then the eldest brother followed, then the two sisters and the youngest son.
The elder brother, Tamerlan, had an arrest for domestic violence in 2009.
