President Obama and Secretary of State Kerry have spoken out against Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, with the president saying that Vladimir Putin is not being strategic, and Kerry calling the invasion a “sign of weakness” on Russia’s part.

“Well, let’s review,” Charles Krauthammer said tonight on “Special Report.” He said Putin has taken over the Crimean peninsula without any real consequences, Europe is resisting the idea of imposing sanctions, and Putin is now in a position to take other parts of Ukraine if he wants.

Krauthammer said Putin is “sitting in a seat where everybody has to come to him, holding a lot of cards.”

Responding to Obama and Kerry’s remarks on Russia, Krauthammer said, “You’ve got to wonder what cosmos our president and secretary of state are living in.”
