Fox 29 Philadelphia reporter Steve Keeley felt the winter storm blast, literally, when a plow pummeled him with snow during a live report.

VIRAL: 'Snow Runner' Takes a Dive During Live Report

Today on America’s Newsroom, Martha MacCallum asked Keeley how he managed to stay on his feet.

Keeley said he never saw the plow coming and didn’t have time to be afraid. Before going on air, Keeley said he decided to stand in a peach orchard away from the road.

“We were in the middle of rural New Jersey. The least populated county in New Jersey. … And I thought, we haven’t even seen a plow today; there’s no danger. But just in case somebody driving a pickup truck loses control, let’s get off the road.”

The plow driver, Michael Wyatt, spoke to Fox 29 after seeing the video and apologized. “My boss showed it to me on the Internet, but at that time I didn’t know it was Steve Keeley. It was when I got home, and me and my wife looked it up. … I recognized him and I saw oh that’s a big time news person.”
