Witness in Pistorius Murder Trial Testifies She Heard "Bloodcurdling" Screams
Oscar Pistorius pleaded not guilty today to the murder of his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp. The former Olympian is accused of intentionally shooting Steenkamp at his home in South Africa last year.
Pistorius claims that he thought she was an intruder.
Today in court, neighbor and ear witness Michelle Burger testified about what she heard the night of the murder. “She screamed terribly and she, uh, yelled for help… then I also heard a man screaming for help… three times he yelled for help… Just after her screams, your, uh, my lady, I heard four shots. It was four gun-shots that I heard… It was very traumatic for me; you could hear that it was bloodcurdling screams.”
The defense lawyer claims it was Pistorius yelling in a high-pitched voice.
Greg Gutfeld said the most interesting part of the story is that Pistorius reportedly has a new 19-year-old girlfriend. “There are so many men out there. Why do you have to go and choose a man who just killed his ex-girlfriend?”
