Judge Andrew Napolitano joined Martha MacCallum to discuss the crisis in Ukraine.

Napolitano said Russia’s use of military force is “profoundly unlawful,” noting that there was no invitation into Ukraine or provocation on Ukraine’s part.

He said it’s also unlawful because troops are in uniform but without insignias, which is required under the Geneva Conventions. He said they’re also wearing black masks.

“It’s as if they’re a gang of criminal thugs invading another country, and that’s what they are,” he said.
