Two adults and one child were pulled alive from an avalanche that roared through Missoula, Montana on Friday.

The avalanche slid down Mount Jumbo at about 4 p.m. It knocked a house off of its foundation and buried an elderly couple and an 8-year-old boy.

Neighbors and first responders dug through the snow and debris before an avalanche probe took over.

The boy was found at about 5:15 p.m. The man was found about an hour later, and his wife was found an hour after that.

All three were taken to the hospital.
