With the Daytona 500 just days away, NASCAR legend Richard Petty talked to Fox and Friends this morning. The 76-year-old recently made headlines for saying Danica Patrick would never win a NASCAR Sprint Cup race.

Steve Doocy asked for his reaction to critics who've called him a sexist.

"I love women," he said, pointing out that he's been married to the same woman for 55 years, and has three daughters, six granddaughters and one great-granddaughter.

Star driver Tony Stewart called on Petty and Patrick to "settle it once and for all" with a race. Petty said he won't back down from the challenge even though he hasn't been in a race car in 25 years.
