“Dirty Jobs” host Mike Rowe was on “Fox and Friends” this morning to discuss his new “one-page book,” which he titled “Profoundly Disconnected.”

All proceeds of the book go to the mikeroweWORKS Foundation, to be used for scholarships and advocacy campaigns surrounding American manufacturing.

Mike Rowe: The 'Dirty' Jobs Alternative to a College Degree

“I feel like there are two separate conversations going on in the country,” Rowe said. “One conversation is about workers and parity and how we can improve conditions. The other conversation really talks about the definition of a good job, the meaning of work, the willingness to see what a lot of people might call a bad job and only see an opportunity.”

Rowe also discussed a controversial Wal-Mart ad which he did the voiceover for. Hear what he had to say about that in the video above.
