Michael Dunn Found Guilty on 4 of 5 Counts in 'Loud Music' Murder Trial
Michael Dunn, 47, was found guilty on four of five counts, including attempted second-degree murder, in the shooting death of Florida teen, Jordan Davis. A mistrial was declared on first-degree murder charge.
Dun shot and killed the unarmed 17-year-old in Jacksonville after an argument over loud music outside of a gas station. He argued he acted out of self defense.
Today would be Davis’ 19th birthday. After the verdict, his mother Lucia McBath said, “We are so grateful for the truth. We are so grateful that the jurors were able to understand the common sense of it all. And we will continue stand, and we will continue to wait for justice for Jordan.”
