Comedian Sid Caesar is dead at 91, a family spokesman says.

More from FoxNews.com:

Caesar's former colleague Carl Reiner's assistant confirmed Caesar's death to FOX411, saying he "passed away at his home this morning."

Caesar, along with partner Imogene Coca, hosted 'Your Show of Shows' in the early 1950s. The show was a huge hit, and became a breeding ground for young comedy writers, including Mel Brooks, Woody Allen, and Neil Simon.

Caesar was married to Florence Levy, who died in 2010. They had three children.
