Manuel Osorio-Arellanes has been sentenced to 30 years in the murder of border patrol agent Brian Terry.

Terry was killed in 2010 with weapons used in the botched gun-running program, Operation Fast and Furious.

“We do not celebrate this sentence today, but we acknowledge justice, it’s been long awaited,” Terry’s cousin, Robert Heyer, said at a news conference today.

Heyer thanked the FBI, border patrol agents, Arizona, the Mexican government and law enforcement on both sides of the border.

He said he hopes two other suspects in Terry’s murder will be extradited from Mexico to the United States.

An additional two suspects remain at large.
