Hannity, Ex-Clinton Advisors Carville & Davis Take On ‘The Hillary Papers’
Documents uncovered by the Washington Free Beacon are shedding new light on former first lady and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
The documents come from the archives of Clinton’s closest friend Diane Blair, who died in 2000. The papers reveal what went on behind the scenes of Bill Clinton’s infidelity, including a conversation in which Hillary describes Monica Lewinsky as a “narcissistic loony toon.” The documents also contain a handwritten note by Blair that reads: “Do we take Matt Drudge seriously?” Six months later, Drudge broke the Lewinsky story.
The papers detail Clinton’s thoughts during her husband’s presidency, including the necessity of a single-payer health care system.
Former Clinton advisors James Carville and Lanny Davis discussed the papers with Hannity tonight.
“It was a conversation with her best friend,” Carville said. “She wasn’t organizing a campaign against anybody, she wasn’t telling Diane Blair to go out and say this … it was a conversation between two, if you will, almost sisters.”
“I wonder if Sean Hannity himself will get over this whole thing that happened 15 years ago,” Davis said.
“I’m over it,” Hannity responded. “I knew you’d go there.”
Hannity, Carville and Davis then got into a heated debate on contraception and health care. Watch the video above to hear what they had to say.
