Greta Van Susteren made a suggestion to the FOX network Thursday night, asking them to consider bringing aboard soon-to-be-former "Tonight Show" host Jay Leno.

She questioned the thinking behind NBC getting rid of Leno while he's still on top of the ratings, pointing out that the network is struggling in the ratings war overall.

Greta explained that she's not trying to take a shot at the "extremely talented" Jimmy Fallon, who will take over for Leno after tonight's broadcast.

"I don't have any say in the matter, but I've been saying this on Gretawire for a long time. I think FOX broadcast should quickly grab Jay Leno, put him at the same time slot. That will teach NBC a big lesson," she said.
