Driving to the hospital was no longer possible, but time was running out for the patient. That’s when he decided to leave his car, head down a mountain and began walking to the hospital. Throughout the ordeal he was texting with the nurses about the condition of the patient.

It took Dr. Hrynkiw two hours to get to the hospital, and at one point he had to take a break and rest in an ambulance.

He told Elisabeth Hasselbeck on Fox and Friends that he had no doubt he would make it to the hospital. “I was going to get there one way or another.”
