Michigan Prison Escapee Caught in Indiana
The convicted murderer who escaped from a Michigan prison has been caught.
Authorities say they caught Michael David Elliot in Indiana after a short police pursuit. Eliot escaped from a maximum security prison last night between 6 and 7 p.m. after cutting two holes in a fence.
Then at midnight, police got a call from a woman who said Elliot carjacked and abducted her. When they stopped for gas, she was able to get away.
Her car was found abandoned in Indiana today.
Elliot is serving four life sentences for murdering four people in 1993.
